I suppose it works? Yes. Technically I was able to silence only my email, while still receiving SMS notifications with this plug-in. However it is the most confusing and least user-friendly plug-in for Locale I've ever run across.

Worked fine on stock Froyo & CM 6, but broke my notify tones on CM 7 (Gingerbread). Nexus One.

Instructions for silencing email did not work. Could not choose "Silent" for ringtone, so did not serve intended purpose.
