Notification Restart can be used to restart the notification bar(status bar). This can be useful while applying themes in CM7 and the status bar is not updated with the theme. Using this app will reduce the time taken for restart after applying theme. The application can also be used if some thing goes wrong in the notification bar.

Doesn't restart notification bar on XPeria X8 Once in a while the notification bar on my rooted XPeria X8 crashes. I mean, it just disappears. I hoped this app would restart it, without having to reboot the phone. But it doesn't. The only way I found in my case was a soft-reboot (that is, restart the Android OS - not power off the phone completely). I achieve this by the shortcut in Link2SD. Anyway, nice idea. I wish it would restart the notification bar in other ROMs.

Didn't work on Nook Didn't work on my Nook Color running CM7. Status bar crashes regularly and I had hoped this would restart it without having to reboot. It didn't.

Didn't work for stock 2.3 I'm not running any mods but my notification bar crashed and I figured I'd see if this got it running again. No dice. dinc2

Didn't work on HD2 with Hyperdroid 3.01 (CM7) after notification bar force closed and disappeared.

Doesn't work on nook color with cm7 2.3 stable. Run it, tap to restart, still doesn't restart crashed status bar.

Great app It fixed the reoccuring problem that I had with my notification bar widget in cm7 :)

Time Savior Great app that saves you time from rebooting, does what is intended to do, great job. I'm running CM-7.1 RC1 from SD Card and the status bar crashes once in a while nothing to do with the theme chooser, now no need to reboot the whole Nook. I've been using Button Savior so I didn't have to reboot the Nook in case of the status bar crashing but no need for that any more. Once again thank you and keep the great job.
