The Classic FM app lets you listen to Classic FM and lots of UK radio stations on your Android phone.

The app also displays relevant text and images including useful information like what we're playing now, news, weather and travel and also provides the ability to contact the studio by phone, SMS or e-mail (where available).

You should be aware that this application can download significant volumes of data whilst it's running so please make sure you have an appropriate data plan if you connect through your mobile network or on a public Wi-Fi network. Your location is required to provide relevant nearby stations and advertising.

Update 2.0. Since update to 2.0.2 constantly loses audio and cannot turn off app - need to force close! Please fix!

Good idea to integrate SMS to studio Just wish playback was reliable. Constant dropouts even on full strength wireless :(

Bug crazy I try this app every few weeks and it always fails. Stops playing after 10mins & widget freezes & has to be uninstalled. V. Disappointing. Droid 2.

Simple. Does the job, but you need a clean, steady WiFi or 3G connection for uninterrupted listening.

Buffering? Poor show. HTC wildfire with strong WiFi connection and still unable to tune for more than 5 secs.
