BatteryFu battery saver

BatteryFu extends battery life by changing always-on mobile data to periodic sync (meaning it disables your mobile data and/or Wifi, then checks your accounts every X minutes). Gives up to 4 days of battery life on a G1!

Also great for tablet use to keep accounts sync'd when the tablet is in sleep/standby, even if WiFi goes to sleep due to WiFi sleep policy.

WARNING: Not tested on 4G. Got reports that it stops 4G working. May work via APNdroid once 4G is supported by that app.

Note:
* Do not move to SD
* Do not task kill
* Disable before uninstalling
* If your battery drains more than about 10% overnight with Night mode on, then something else is draining your battery. Uninstall some apps and/or reboot. "Process monitor widget" can help locate power draining apps.

Tips for even better battery life:
* Select "2g networks only" in Android settings
* Turn off "Network notification" under Wifi settings
* Garbage collection is a battery killer - uninstall apps if your phone is running out of RAM (e.g. slow to get to homescreen or switch apps)
* If your battery life is out of control, reset phone to factory defaults, install BatteryFu and be amazed! Then slowly re-install some apps
* Do not put apps on SD card if they run in the background. SD card access drains battery.
