Realtime 3D astronomy of Earth's aurora, UV solar flares and sunspots. Uses data from NASA STEREO, SDO and NOAA polar orbiter spacecraft. Phone vibrates when geomagnetic storm level rises or aurora may be overhead at your location.

Great app! I like how when you rotate earth it remembers where you left it, w/red "+" for your location. Like the rotating sun. The links are great.

Works ok but it always starts up showing the opposite side of the earth.Since it knows where I am, why doesn't it turn the globe to show where I am?

Works well in Desire. Would be MUCH better if could lock view direction to phone loc on start and Earth loc, and change double tap to touch and hold.

Note that solar image update interval is determined by NASA. "Real-time" image at 19.5 nm is quite up-to-date. - the Developer
