You need to exit with the back button, not the home button or it will not close and drain your battery

CRASHES! ... Doesn't work on my Galaxy Nexus Failed to show return route during Mtn. snowshoe'g This app failed to show/redraw my route when returning from a deep back country Mtn. snowshoe hike. Left me searching for the trail ... NOT GOOD! Map downloads are ridiculously slow and too limited. Constant failures when trying to download maps. My DroidX has GIG-Bytes of avail. space yet this limits me to a few hundred MB of map download? The app's display redraw is lethargic! This app has promise but falls short in a few critical areas. Hope to see fixes

It works What more from an app do you want than doing what it says. I have used this app to hunt areas that do not have a cell signal, just down load the map.

Gaia GPS is the best! Trimble buys MyTopo and blocks other GPS apps, trying to compete unfairly. Developer found an alternate USGS source & updated Gaia GPS within a day!
