Dim Lock allows you to hold off sleep mode, screen lock and/or dim. To make things convenient, Dim Lock comes with the an optional widget and ongoing notification to toggle. You can also set Dim Lock to automatically enable on boot or USB connection. Multiple options & features are available by application.

Doesn't change brightness beyond system settings (which is what I'm looking for with a lock preventing it from being changed)

Does what it says on the tin. It's not designed to disable "lock screen" but "screen lock". Learn to read. HTC Incredible 2.2

Doesn't dim, all it does is keep the screen on. Very complicated and hard to understand for a simple *screen lock*. Does not disable the *lock screen*
