Call-timer

Call-Timer helps you to make timer calls. That means Call-timer can make your phone automatically hang up when your call reaches a configurable predefined time.

Why it is needed? Many network carriers or telecom services offer free calls for first 5, 10, 20, xx minutes. If you don’t want to monitoring the time elapsed and manually hang-up the call while talking, then you can have this application do it for you.

To use this call timer application, you just install it, enable call timer service and setup call time limit. The application has a check-box, which allows you to enable or disable the call timer feature. When you disable the call timer application, it will be in standby mode.  Besides, the size of the call timer application is quite small.

FEATURES:

1/ Call timer: user sets time limit once (through the life of call timer application from installation to removal) and the application will be in standby mode; whenever there will be an outgoing call, the application will be activated and begin to time the call - It counts down time elapsed until reaching the limit and then automatically hang-up the call. This has effect globally on all outgoing calls.
Users don’t have to change their calling habit, they just make calls as usual and call timer running in background will control your call time duration and hang up when time limit reaches.

2/ Use precise call timer: the call timer starts when called person answers (lift) the call.

3/ Auto redial.

4/ To be notified before hang-up: before automatically hang-up call, the call timer application let user be aware that the call is reaching the end. Please note: if you test on emulator, choose "Notification type" NONE.

5/ Temporarily disable call timer for current call: during a call if you don't want auto hang up, then, you can open status bar notification panel and tap on Call timer message. That will temporarily disable call timer for current call.

6/ To exclude a group of contacts from call timer: If you don't want call timer to have effect on certain contacts (for example, toll free numbers), you just need to add those contacts to a group named "Call Timer Excluded".

NOTE on USAGE:
- The Call timer automatically deducts 5 seconds from your configured duration. Ex, if you set 5 Minute, phone will hang up at 4' 55" from connect. This will guarantee that you don't have to pay extra-bill because of clock difference.
- Auto hangup may not work on some LG Optimus Black or One. Notification still works.
