Killswitch will put your device to sleep when you shut its case or turn it face down. This trial version limits the threshold to 15 seconds and does not support the no-lock feature.

Killswitch is for those of you tired of lockscreens and pressing buttons to turn off your device. Current features:

- Turn your screen of by shutting the case
- Turn it off by placing handset facedown
- Turn off screen lock
- Disable features on schedule (useful at night)
- Turn on auto-unlock (Full app only)
- Tune sensor sensitivity (Full app only)

It is a utility made specifically for devices with cases, especially tablets, because it allows you to send your gadget to sleep just by shutting the case or, if used in a dark room, turning the tablet over on its front.

In tablet mode, Killswitch will use the light sensor and accelerometer to control when your device sleeps. In phone mode, the accelerometer and proximity sensor are used to achieve the same effect.

No-lock is a sub-feature of Killswitch. It will remove the annoying lockscreen (unnecessary in any device with a case and all tablets anyway) using one of two methods: (1) by disabling the locking mechanism entirely, or by (2) automatically unlocking whenever the power button is pressed.

Some devices have superior hardware governors, so we advise people to experiment with lower sensitivity settings for even better functionality.

Compatible with almost all 2.2+ devices that have the appropriate sensors. Top devices are: XOOM, Galaxy Tab, Desire HD, GTab, Desire, Galaxy S.


**After upgrading to a newer version, please go into the settings dialog and enable Killswitch again. This is not optimal, but it saves battery and cpu time by removing the necessity for a constantly running service!**
