Your phone does not have LED ?
Use the screen as a source of white light.
Control the light with +/- volume buttons.

No need to look at the screen to adjust the light.

Three modes (available through the MENU button):

- continuous adjustable light: define the light brightness using +/- buttons
- toggle mode: press a +/- button to switch light on or off
- button mode: press a +/- button to switch on, release to switch off

The light prevents the phone from going to power save mode and locking the screen.

Developed and tested on Galaxy S. Should work on Android 1.5 and later platforms.
