You can create new text file, open existing files and of course save them. You can also display line numbers and open recent files. Now you can also search for text inside the openned file.

This app has great synergy with Dropbox Create the file in dropbox, open with Ted. When Ted saves, Dropbox auto-uploads, so you can take notes on your phone then have them anywhere!

Ok, simple, with a search function. Lags when handling 1.8MB txt file - so it wasn't for me. Might work for you.

Doesn't properly handle UTF-8 in temporary storage on restart. Otherwise fine.

Pretty happy using this as main text editor but the SAVE acts like SAVE AS- often prompts for the filename when you just opened the file.

The automatic save on exit just cost me a file when I missed the menu button and hit the back button. Terrible design decision in the app.
