Connect to an external bluetooth NMEA compatible GPS device. Mock provider allows other apps (Google Maps, GPSStatus, RMaps, OruxMaps, NDrive, c:geo ...etc) to work with the device.

Now you can start/stop the service from other apps by sending the service or broadcast Intent :

Start - googoo.android.btgps.action.SERVICE_START
Stop - googoo.android.btgps.action.SERVICE_STOP
Toggle - googoo.android.btgps.action.SERIVCE_TOGGLE

* Note: You should first make sure you setup all the preferences and you can start the service correctly through the GUI frontend.

* try enable Workaround 2 (in preference) if failed to connect (eg, service discovery fail)

Please report error or send me logcat if you got FC or any problems.

Simple, reliable, elegant This is very reliable and simple to use. The status page displays sats and coordinates in DD.dd and UTM.This is great to have both. Gees, only one step from being a simple logger as well. If you do, a single step to sharing log/track files would be great (like GPS2GoogleEarth) I have used the "red dot" app, and it was very unforgiving. Phone - Samsung Ace.

Works Like a dream Works Like a dream on my Transformer prime, quick and easy. 2 points, encase the publisher is reading, on start up the app displays Please Waite but it is not doing anything, you just need to touch the screen and the message goes away and because i am using this on a tablet it work be good if it worked in landscape mode and not just in portrait. It you can fix the landscape thing the app is well worth a Donation. Cheers!

Works great on Viewsonic Gtab running ICS beta Get app for navigation support via an external Bluetooth receiver. Would like better landscape support for the "Main" screen though

Great app I can use my Nokia LD-3W external GPS receiver with the navigation app on Samsung Galaxy S. Unfortunately Google Navigation only works with the phone's internal GPS (but this has nothing to do with this app) . Other navigation apps (IGO, Navigon, Navdroid) work perfectly with an external GPS receiver. Just follow the instructions to enable Mock locations, then start this app to connect to the external GPS receiver and then start your navigation app.

Works, sort of..... This would be a great app if it worked longer than 2 minutes. App connects right away but stops working after 2 minutes, still remains connected but I have to turn off external gps and reconnect to get it working again.

Works great with my HP touchpad and Nook color This app works great with my HP touchpad and Nook color using Palm pre2 as GPS. Had issues with other apps but this one has worked great so far.

Won't stay connected Connects for about 2 minutes and just stops communicating. GSat BT -359 & SGS4G
