Smart Compass Pro is the 3rd set of Smart Tools collection (azimuth, metal detector, GPS).

This compass is a tool to search bearings using the built-in magnetic sensors. It has 4 significant features.

1. Although you may turn the phone into portrait or landscape mode, the heading is fixed.
2. The Camera's view is used for reality.
3. Metal Detector is included to verify the sensors.
4. GPS is supported.

The compass app depends on the performance of your device exactly. If it is inaccurate, please check that you aren't being affected by a magnetic field. Also, there are several options to calibrate your device.

Almost perfect Add altitude and it'll be near perfect.

Why doesn't it work? Emailed the developer weeks ago not sure what will or has happened.. Needle spins? NORTH, magnetic or true changes depending on how the phone is sitting or held (on fastest refresh) orientation seems to switch randomly. Vzw galaxy nexus. GPS on. I love it, paid to support the developer. Wish I could figure out why.

Ridiculous permissions! Caller id and take pictures?! Why would a compass need to be able to take pics without explicit action by the user? Why would a compass need to know who you are talking to on the phone!? We need to fight back - Don't buy or install nosy apps. Maybe the developers will learn.
