A condition plug-in for the popular 'Locale' application that allows you to detect if you are connected to a bluetooth device.

NOTE on Errors: If you're using ATK or a tak manager or killer, please exempt the background service as you'll lose state of what's connected otherwise.

NOTE on Error Reporting: Please send feedback and tell me if this plugin doesn't work or stops working. Saying 'this does not work any more' in a comment doesn't help me fix it. If you can send me logcat output, please do.

Can't control any volume :( Have the condition set also another condition to unset. But I can't control the headset volume even when i have Bluetooth turned off. The only volume it will allow me to control with the phone volume toggles is the Bluetooth in-call volume. Removing the plug-in and hope I don't have to reset the phone :(

BT connection/condition unreliable It detects an initial connection and then loses the status. Either happens on its own or when another condition by a different plugin is detected.

Doesn't maintain condition The condition is triggered when my phone first connects to the bluetooth device, but at some point after the condition will turn off even though my phone is still connected via bluetooth. [Samsung GS2 with ICS]

Latest update Latest update broke functionality. Uninstalled and restored version prior to 5/9/12 update and works fine, galaxy nexus 4.0.4. Please fix

Doesn't quite live up to it's potential I love the idea, but have 2 major issues with the implementation: 1) It "loses track" of it's state too easily: I'm connected to a BT device now, and it initially detected that as expected. But with no disconnection at all, it has lost track of the fact that I'm still connected. This happens frequently. 2) Though I've got it set to only detect when a specific BT device is connected, the profile is activated before I actually connect the device, but as soon as I turn the BT device on. I assume there is a "connected" state that precedes the Phone and/or Media profile connection, but I don't want it to kick in until I've actually connected the device to the phone.

Doesn't work with HTC Sensation on ICS Worked previously on Gingerbread but since my Sensation was upgraded hasn't worked! Looks like dev no longer interested from the other comments.

Working fine now Had issues earlier but now seems to be working fine on my GSM Galaxy Nexus using Locale version 2.5.

Problems with Android 4.0 ? With my Galaxy Nexus with ICS 4.0.2, this plugin isn't working very well.. Most of the days, the plugin send to local my bluetooth is disconnect but it's wasn't the case. Please fix it ! thanks

Great idea, iffy execution Functionality ought to have been native. Plug-in not triggering locale situation on Samsung Droid Charge (SCH-I510).
