Speak Message Service

Worked perfectly for while, wont work since updated Xperia 10X frm 1.6 to 2.2.

Sometimes deletes (multi-part, long?) texts when it tries to speak them. I hear part of a text and then it's missing when I try to read on screen.

Could do with a widget to enable / disable quickly. Being able to customise the preamble would be good. Doesn't work when car bt connected

Vlingo's SafeReader is better, IMHO Not great. The voice is very mechanical voice (humorous for a bit); the widget isn't useful it doesn't change, it just says 'hush hush hush' - I can't tell if it's activated); the option to change speed doesn't seem to work. I like Vlingo's SafeReader better: it has a friendly, somewhat normal voice, and the widget clearly shows if the service is active (and the app announces that it's on or off when you click the widget).

Works ok, could do with more features Random Idea: I'd like an option for it to open full screen when a message is recieved, vibrate, pause for a few(configurable amount of) seconds with the message displayed & a big cancel button, and then speak the message (with the cancel still there) ps: of course, never interrupt phone calls Thanks, I understand my idea is unlikely to be viable due to resources on a free project & possibly only useful to me :-) It's already nice as it is now

Application did not read any incoming nor did the white list show any contacts!
