SMS Popup provides a convenient popup dialog when a message is received that allows you to quickly read and reply to messages. It also provides in-depth customization of message notifications including contact specific sound, vibrate and LED settings.

NOTE: SMS Popup does mark message as "read" - if the notification tray icon does not disappear, make sure you disable the system messaging app notifications and use SMS Popup's notifications instead. Please see FAQ for more information.

Full feature list:
-convenient popup window on incoming message
-quickly reply, delete or close the message
-built-in "quick reply" for even faster messaging directly from popup window
-have your messages read to you using text-to-speech
-reply to messages using the system voice recognition
-customize notifications including sound, vibrate pattern, LED color (if available) and notification icon
-also customize notifications for individual contacts
-setup notification reminders (repeating notifications if you miss the first one)
-optional privacy mode to hide sender name and message contents

Time incorrect The time stamp is incorrect when the text message "pops", however in my stock messaging app, it is correct. I also will sometimes receive blank pops with a text message that comes in that doesn't appear anywhere else. Otherwise, great!

Great app! Great for assigning a text notification tones to each contact. Maybe expand to set notification tones for apps too?

Just one problem The app works properly but I just have one prob. Since I should turn off the notifications for my stock messaging app, I no longer get to see its "message sending failed" notification. SMS popup unfortunately doesn't have this feature.

Freaking amazing!!! By far the most useful app I have ever come across! If your notifications don't clear just disable the stock SMS app notification and use SMS popups one. It's much more configurable anyway.

Love it! Only down fall is that my stock sms app always has a 1missed notification on it, and only way to get rid of it is to clear data. But I choose to ignore it, since its something minor.
