Osmand+ (Open Street Maps Android)

Osmand is opensource navigation application with access to a wide source of popular open street map data. All map data including vector and raster maps can be stored on the phone memory card for offline usage. Osmand also has online routing and audible guidance.

Osmand+ is a donation based application. By buying it you are supporting the project and receive latest updates via Android Market.

Some of the core features:
- new Wikipedia feature (download offline POIs)
- offline data, configurable folder for the maps and tiles
- compact vector maps for whole world
- offline search of addresses and places
- custom tile map area download
- pedestrian, bicycle and car modes
- many map layers with customized transparency at a time

Great app Works really well on Asus transformer TF101 10" Tablet. I can download vector maps for offline use and gpx rooutes to follow.

Excelente Después de usar por un tiempo la versión gratis decidí aportar para este proyecto. Funciona muy bien en mi SGS2 aunque necesita algunas mejoras. De todas formas, luego de entender bien todas las opciones vale la pena usar!

Amazing mapping software with just a few glitches We've just returned from a trip through Chile, where OsmAnd did most of the navigation for us. Since we did not have a data plan, Google maps was not an option. So, we downloaded the map for Chile and used OsmAnd's built-in rendering and routing. Whether driving or hiking, we fared amazingly well. The program still has some bugs, and part of the interface needs improvement, but I highly recommend it and I am sure it will become one of the greatest apps ever

Excellent! Very nice map app. Perfect for wifi only tablets or to save bandwidth. Just the app I've been waiting for. Download Google terrain maps for backcountry use offline. Definitely worth the price!

best osm app i tryed all apps that can read osm and this is the best one. It has room to improuve, but it's already twice as good as 6 months ago when i bought it!
