Locate the nearest AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) that has been signed up in this independent database. Find the one near your home, so you know just in case. Or find one if others called EMS and started resuscitation and nobody knows where the nearest is placed.

Submit AEDs yourself with this mobile application or at http://www.aed4.us

At present only the Dutch AEDs which have been signed up are presented. In the near future other countries will also become available. Watch for news on www.aed4.us or www.aed4.eu

The presentation of AEDs may vary depending on the time of the day, because some AEDs are only available during office-hours.

Helaas blijft het steken bij goede bedoelingen. Veel AED's staan niet vermeld en moeten door gebruikers zelf worden aangemeldt. Dev reageert niet.

Registration & More Submissions Needed Have to register first. Needs to be more widely known. No ADD PHOTO DIRECTLY USING CAMERA under Photo tab, had to pick pic from file. Google Nexus One

The idea is good, but the list of AEDs is too short, which means using the app when you really need it, will cost you valuable time for nothing!
