Data channel toggle app+widget to save battery power and bytes on a limited data plan.

Similar apps mangle the APN list of your phone, potentially corrupting it.

DCSwitch uses android's undocumented services to enable/disable the data connection in a clean, mean and concise manner.

NOTE1: HTC SENSE not supported.
NOTE2: Does not work on Gingerbread. See and star this issue to make it work again: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=15031

Works well on Samsung I5801 but if phone is restarted u have to turn data off again from dcswitch app cause it enables data automatic

Meh Worked perfectly on LG Optimus M 2.2.1 . Doesn't work on LG Esteem w/2.3.4 . Would be a lot cooler if it did. Data enabler widget does work on the LG Esteem

Don't bother .... I've tried plenty and this one doesn't work. Won't turn signal on and then can't turn widget/signal off once I have manually enabled it. LG Ally

Varying performance. Worked perfectly on sanding moment but I upgraded to Motorola photon and it doesn't work. If fixed ill donate to you. :D
