KNOWN ISSUES: HTC android 2.1 has a bug in foreground service code, which leads to unfixable stuttering / skipping in music playback.

PERMISSIONS:

phone state & identity permission is used to detect when a user accepts incoming call, to stop playback

sdcard access permission is used to store playlists and configuration files

internet access is for radio streaming and ads

Excellent the Only free player working in ICS, plays True audio files with cue sheets. Works like a charm on SGS with voodoo

Simple & elegant Clean interface looks nice. Plays FLAC well. Could use a short explanation of features for us non-geeks. Have not been able to get covers display even if embedded in FLAC files.

Loving this player more with every update! Give us the ability to add a single track at a time rather than folders only, and you get the 5th star.

Ok. Like the look,almost like an old style LCD look to it..its actually good for free. Give it a try. Update again but still gaps when playing ogg vorbis.Galaxy S 2.3.4 Please fix and I may buy pro version.

Simple, but A nice, simple FLAC player, but it is so simple that I wonder why it is 2.2MB (bigger when installed, and even bigger when adding the extra decoers for MP3, etc.). Still, it would have been good enough for me, except that it stops playing when my phone goes to standby mode (LG C710, Android 2.1), whereas WinAmp keeps playing. Oh yeah, it seems to crash far too often.

Buggy, prone to freezing, but does play flac on my phone (unlike the last 5 I tried). Interface is retro looking, I like. Needs work, has potential!

It plays wav files on my rooted htc hd2 but you have to install the plugins pack and the sound quality is great. Simple interface. Good job.
