This is a simple, easy to use notepad.  
It differs from other note editors in that all notes are seamlessly stored in the background as text files on the SD card (/sdcard/Notes). There is no need to import or export to backup or sync notes.

Update fixes a new note save issue which could cause data loss on new notes.

simply the best if u dont mind raw look. Don't have to worry about backups. Add widget and will be perfect :-)

Good for brief notes. File name defaults to first line on note, so be careful. Files saved to SD card - good.

It may be very basic, but the SD backup that's automatic is awesome! Ability to email a note's text would be perfect!
