Add to my favs

PingLocation sends a location SMS when pinged with a missed call. A cost effective method for someone to know your location when you are on the move. Quite useful and improves safety while driving, so you dont need to keep answering your phone to let them know where you are.
You can also restrict on numbers allowed to ping.

It works but only gives latitude and longitude. City and state would be helpful.

works. But no point in getting lat and long in sms. Needs atleast a link to Google maps.

I love the idea, but when I tested on my Samsung Moment, the other phone did not receive a txt, gps didn't shut off. Too bad.

Location information is not accurate on Droids, if GPS satellites disabled. Should add option to enable GPS before sending message.
