Needs haptic feedback Another useful addition would be haptic feedback (the little "buzz" that let you know you've pressed a key) when the record button is pushed.

Eager to try but can't get widget to load. Samsung Moment. Home, menu, 'add' is grayed-out. Maybe cuz i DLd 'Rehearsal' first?

@dan: true, if you are doing other things on the phone while recording, the recording quality can decrease.

Mentioned before, but recording from the widget is very glitched, constant audio chunks r dropped.

It does indeed record and playback but it is so quiet it is useless for school lectures which is what I wanted it for.

Voice Recorder seems to do more, has a screen widget and is free. Just saying. Still excellent if you want to use Rehearsal apparently (free)

Easy, quick voice notes while I drive. Use recorder without looking @ your phone. The only app I actually paid for!

Omg i laughed so hard when i seen the new 2x2 record button. Thats way to big lol but i love this widget
