PHOforPHO is a free set of Phone Tools for Photographers.

PHOforPHO is intended to be used by people who has a basic understanding of photography, and more specifically, how manual settings for the camera works.

PHOforPHO is not intended to be used with the built in camera on your Android device, it is intended for users of more advanced cameras like SLRs.

The application is ad-free and there is no "pro" version to upgrade to for a "small fee".

In current version (1.1) PHOforPHO offers the following functionality:

* Hyperfocal Calculator: Calculate distance to focus on in order to obtain maximum depth of field for a given focal length and aperture.
* Depth of Field Calculator: Calculate depth of field given current camera settings.
* Exposure Calculator for low light/night photography, ND filter use or just conversion between exposures.
* Timer
* Choose between feet or meters as unit of measure.
* Calculate necessary exposure compensation needed when shooting multiple exposures.
* A simple distance meter which uses the built in GPS (Precision depending on HW and quality of reception).
* Photographer's logbook: Ability to log notes directly from PHOforPHO to 3Banana Notes (requires 3Banana to be installed on your device). If GPS is turned on, your location is logged as well.
* Information on current location: uses GPS to determine your location and sunset and sunrise. View your location on Google maps.
* Add up to three links to web resources that may assist you further in your creation of fantastic photographs.

Almost perfect. This is a wonderful app for photographers. I just wish the calculator tools would update instantly, without having to tap the "calculate" button. Other than that - simply great!

Great extremely useful for calculating ND filter exposures and such. Light weight and best of all free. ;-)

Overcomplicated I like the fact that the app can do so many things - after all it is very easy to choose what you want and what you don't need. I only tried the DoF calculator. The UI is cluttered. Why would I need to read a story about what DoF is everytime I want to use the calculator? The boxes for entering data are too small. Sliders would be better, anyway.

Fantastic app It's all good stuff here, but I particularly love the exposure compensation tool, and the ability to send your exposure time straight to a stopwatch. Nice one! Good work, Kenneth.

A great tool to aid in night exposures! I'm just using it for a little while, but it's seems to be a great app! It is very helpful for manual night exposures, when you don't want to do the math for exposure equivalents. The DoF and hyperfocal calculators are also handy!

Great App. Perfect! Perfect for my needs, simple & clean interface that's easy to use. Also useful at night as the interface is not super bright & does not destroy night vision The only thing missing is a light meter

Useful App Florin, you need to learn to read. Stuff is blanked out until you set your camera's circle of confusion. I shoot professionally and while this app doesn't have it al, it definitely is useful enough to keep around.
