Reboot your device after installation.

Simple application which displays the air temperature and other weather conditions in the Android notification bar. The air temperature is always visible like a system clock.

The current location can be detected automatically or be entered manually.

The weather is requested from Google.

This is the core application. To display the current temperature in different colors or styles, install skins. Skins can be installed on SD card.

Simple and functional I've tried a few different weather apps and have found this one to be lightweight and really easy to use. Basically, you'll forget you have this installed because the weather is always right there when you need it. Thank you dev!

nice clean ui Good and accurate. Seems to have a timezone issue in notification text: always says "<1d" for last update for me. Wish it would show time of last update instead.

Useful, lightweight, bloat-free Can display temp AND cloud icon in status bar! I had installed its Classic cousin to replace the bloated GO Weather after it started throwing Chinese ads at me. I can live without the weather wallpaper, and Weather Notifications provides the status bar temp function I'd been persuaded to get GO for, and more, without all the bloat!

useless it is stuck showing weather in some godforsaken place, and doesnt have weather in notifications, and no way to disable celcius, which is too complicated for the US.

Works fine in CM9 ICS Android 4.0.3 The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it lacks a means of displaying weather in Fahrenheit. Otherwise, I would definitely give it full rating.

No ICS support Notification in drop down screen looks horrible in ICS. NEEDS ICS SUPPORT!
