AsciiCamera allows you to take a picture in ascii style. In other words it converts your snapshot into a sequence of letters, digits and other symbols as it's shown at the attached pictures.You can edit the result by variety of methods and save it as a picture or as a text file.

* Pictures are saved into /sdcard/asciicamera folder *

Snapshot doesn't work, but works perfectly from file, so I can just take pics from normal camera. 5/5

Saving as a picture doesn't work too well. Only saves the part visible on screen when zoomed. When not zoomed it's too blurry to even tell it's ASCII.

this app works great on the droid X. it's pretty amazing what it does too. not sure why users are being so harsh toward the dev.

Nice idea but it doesn't work at all for me, android 2.2.1, asciicamera 1.2.2, HTC incredible s. "Forced close"
