My perfect egg timer calculates the exact time for boiling eggs. Taking the egg diameter, egg temperature, and how hard or soft you want it into account, the app starts an egg timer once the egg is in boiling water. Shortly before the egg is done, you will be notified.

Limited methods - not energy efficient Cooking the perfect soft- and hard-boiled eggs requires turning off the heat after a certain time & leaving it in the water to continue cooking.

Good, but major timer problem Perfect soft-boiled eggs! Only problem was that alarm didn't go off when screen was locked.

Egg measured with vernier calipers, fridge temp taken with an infa red thermometer, height above sea level measered by GPS. Outcome: uncooked egg.
