You need to have IMAP enabled in your Gmail preferences, which must be done through a computer.

Not automatic It's not backing up automatically anymore. I have to do it myself. Pls fix!

Not automatic New texts aren't being backed up for two days now . Very slow initial backup took 15 minutes not seconds as stated.

Brilliant! Never lose another txt again! Im sure it works by magic, its instant, send or receive a txt and its there in my Gmail! HTC desire.

Crashes when attempting backup Ice Cream Sandwich Just tried to install on Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and the initial manual backup crashes on trying to log in. Shame, as it's a good, small, reliable app otherwise, and saved all my messages when I trashed my last phone. Four stars for working so well on previous phone, and hope it gets updated someday!
