Emit allows you to stream videos from PC/Mac(10.6+)/Linux directly to an android device from your local wifi, 3g or external wifi.

Features:
- Live encoding and streaming directly to your device. No need to wait for your video to encode entirely.
- Accessible from 3g or external wifi
- HTTP Live streaming for 2.3+ devices
- .srt subtitles
- mkv subtitles
- Switching between audio tracks in movie
- Recognizes DVD folders and displays by title
- Pre encoding videos and download them to the device for offline viewing.
- Download music from iTunes. Songs will be saved to: SD_Card/Emit/Music/Artist/Album/Song.mp3

Common issues:
- If you have problems playing videos, try disabling HTTP Live Streaming in settings. It can cause problems for some phones.

Worked and now doesn't Was very impressed for a few mins, and bought this pay for version, then my Twitter process keeps closing and this has stopped working, can connect to pc, can browse videos but when I play them it just says "something's gone wrong" for videos that worked a few mins ago. And now just can't get it to work. To late for refund now, which is annoying as now have useless app that is heading for an unstall. could be Twitter app issues bit either way this app no good for me. Will contact support if can't sort it.

Best in Class Absolutely love this app and have been using it for over 6 months. Had some initial problems streaming over 3G, contacted support, and they released an update several days later which resolved the issue. Also love the fact that I can log into the web portal and watch wherever, regardless. Bottom line, this is the easiest, best working app to stream BOTH audio and video. I have tried almost every app out there, and only use this app now. There are features some other apps have, e.g. sexier interface, but these other apps can't serve up both audio & video, or have issues with certain formats/codes, don't stream well, etc. Would love to see the ability to make a playlist for music on the fly, or record favorites/most listened/watched, or recently listened/watched. Ability to remember last several movies, and where you left off at would be awesome. Ability to search shared folders, doesn't seem like the app indexes files the most efficiently.

Excellent. I've been trying to find an app that could do this for a long time. Can't believe how easy it was and how good the quality is over my home wifi. Only thing would be to make the ICS on screen buttons drop away when viewing a video. *Galaxy Nexus*

Streaming made easy 3min setup...stable for last 3 months on PC..cant fault it....try the free version for proof...paid is without ads and obviously supports dev.
