OpenSearch

So quick I love that I don't have to load a cache-laden app to run a simple search. It's my go-to app for Play store.

Exactly what I wanted! I bound this to long-press search, and it's a good replacement for dolphin's poor search function. Tip: "add advanced", and click the mycroft link.

Als frenetischer Evangelist des Mycroft-Projektes kann ich nur sagen: Es ist schon zum heulen, dass man auf dem tollen freien Android die Google-Suchleiste nicht durch eine OpenSearch-Awesomebar ersetzen kann. Diese App ist mindestens die halbe Miete! Umso trauriger, dass der Entwickler sich scheinbar Anderem zugewendet hat... Bitte, bitte: Möge jemand diese App vollenden. Es fehlt neben der Einbindung als native Suche (lange auf [Menü] drücken) eine ikonografische Auswahl der Suchengine statt nativer Auswahlliste.

Buggy as hell Removing and adding search providers doesn't work correctly.

I pretty much use it for the easy builtin shortcuts I do wish it was more straightforward to add custom URLs, but to have a ready Market search after a ROM flash is very handy.

Unsupported? App used to be good, but the page for adding new search providers no longer works (as of nov 2), so it's somewhat useless with just default searches.

Works great, but the new site for search engines suck; it takes you to a link when you hit 'install'. 5 stars if this were ever fixed.

Works great with default engines, adding feature using mycroft appears to be broken. Is this app still supported? Website is down...#HTC desire
