Knife Steel Composition and name cross-reference database. Includes popular, exotic and high end alloys used in knife blades. About 3800+ alloy names, over 870 compositions. Alloy names for 17 different international standards, proprietary names and their equivalents. Easy composition comparison with bar graph in 3 modes: mass percentage, molar masses and atomic count per 1000 atoms.

S30V real name is CPM S30V. All Crucible CPM steels used in knives are in the database, now including their aliases.

HTC specific database installation issue was addressed in 2.27.

5 stars only because i can't give it 10 stars!! this app is mind blowing. I will never have another question about steel ever again.. from this moment on anytime I enter a cutlery store I will be answering questions for the employees. I can't say anything negative about this app... the setup is phenomenal and the data is amazing and very precise. very very very good job designer. my hat is off to you

Best app on the market Not only do i collect knives, but i recommend and sell knives to my friends, and steel is the knife itself so i always want to know if a steel is worth getting, and this app is my best friend for that. Incredible!

This would be awsome if heat treating info was added. If you did so it would be a must "buy" app for knifemakers.
