Retro Wars

Quite entertaining, not brilliant presentation, but fun while it lasts - though it's short.

by andyclap the 6/24/2011
Duco Forma Lite

Feels like hard work for little reward.

by andyclap the 6/20/2011
Very Angry Robots

Well balanced and fun, but screen limited by ads, and control scheme takes a bit of getting used to (but not bad).

by andyclap the 5/30/2011
Kilgamore Castle

Nice idea, and well produced. Seems a little slow-paced at times: that might suit some people, but unfortunately not me.

by andyclap the 5/30/2011
Uncle Pumpkin's Journey

While it has good production values, the game itself is just a bit "off". Success seems often to be a case of luck rather than skill and reflexes.

by andyclap the 5/26/2011
Knuddel's Minigolf

Not bad, not brilliant, and controls could be improved. Is this a beta? could do with a bit more work to smooth out problems.

by andyclap the 5/26/2011
Yojic34 Matrix

Not a bad puzzle, but ui and control scheme need a bit of attention.

by andyclap the 5/24/2011
Space Out Lite

Well produced, fun to play. Even if it had a regular control scheme it would be one of the best breakout games; but gravity controls make it great!

by andyclap the 5/22/2011
Zu

Has its moments, but poor management of pause/resume on android; force closes.

by andyclap the 4/12/2011
SteamBall (free)

Well executed, very playable controls. For me it lacks that elusive fun factor, with the trickier levels being plain annoying, but ymmv.

by andyclap the 4/10/2011
Fill It Up!

Has its moments. Graphics aren't great - but worth a try.

by andyclap the 4/10/2011
Ghoti English

Fairly well executed, but gameplay is not balanced and not interesting. Also why have server based scoring?

by andyclap the 2/22/2011
Vector Ace

Original gameplay makes this worth a look. Some tweaks to the scoring (e.g. points for winning the race!) would improve things.

by andyclap the 2/22/2011
POD Free

Quite basic, but not unaddictive. Some of the massive online highscores verify the addictive qualities.

by andyclap the 2/22/2011
BrickBreaker

Fairly decent breakout, but hard to control.

by andyclap the 1/9/2011
Hi Buggy!!

Better than 95% of games on the android market. That's not saying much ...

by andyclap the 12/15/2010
Cheese Phone Home

Another jme game with ads placed right over the top. Don't the license holders worry about this when the rights are negotiated? </sarcasm>

by andyclap the 12/6/2010
Jump Jump

Quite amusing, but too loud.

by andyclap the 11/21/2010
Graviton

Quite interesting idea but needs more of a game around it.

by andyclap the 11/20/2010
Pomodroid

Limited features are a big plus for me, but it's a real shame that it doesn't work in the background and so is currently useless.

by andyclap the 11/19/2010
Space Invaders

Still no space invaders on android

by andyclap the 11/8/2010
Wine - List, Ratings & Cellar

Reasonable app, but no content: metrosphere need to purchase a decent wine database to back this up.

by andyclap the 11/7/2010
Wine Guru

Mediocre app, poor UI and limited database with no user contribution.

by andyclap the 11/5/2010
Aedict

Absolutely essential for anybody learning Japanese. Some personal quibbles about how the UI flows, but none that affect the 5* rating.

by andyclap the 9/12/2010
Android Gaming Net

Seems to be a link to a set of prize web quizzes, not what the screenshots imply.

by andyclap the 9/9/2010
Just BikeIT London

Slow to start and lacking many features, especially manual refresh.

by andyclap the 8/11/2010
Vectron Free

Not too bad, but the auto-fire is a bit annoying. Would prefer multitouch, where available.

by andyclap the 6/20/2010
How to Keep an Idiot Busy

Hmm, it's a joke (and it's meant to be) but it doesn't quite work as an app.

by andyclap the 6/20/2010
Space Challenge 3D Demo

Good engine but balance of game is too frustrating for me.

by andyclap the 6/20/2010
Air Horn Fun!

Wot no vuvuzuela?

by andyclap the 6/15/2010
Circlemania

The description is very accurate. If you think that sounds fun, this is the game for you! If not - you're normal. Presumably this is a dev test.

by andyclap the 6/13/2010
Sphere Break

Not too bad, could do with a pause, but suppose that's cheating. Responsive developer!

by andyclap the 5/15/2010
Sheepcount

Dude, the plural of sheep is sheep. It's just one of those words! Anyway, cute enough, slight clear canvas bug with WVGA854, test it in emulator.

by andyclap the 4/22/2010
Wine Finder

Pretty good app, but food choices are a bit limited, and american-centric. Turkey in bbq sauce, ugh! But what wine's best with rabbit and prunes?

by andyclap the 4/17/2010
Asteroids

Ok, but doesn't play like asteroids at all - not smooth enough. Should at least be able to map control keys.

by andyclap the 4/12/2010
ZXdroid - ZX Spectrum emulator

Doesn't render screen on milestone. Looks like it won't go fullscreen either. Should use proper android buttons: menu, back. Needs a bit of polish.

by andyclap the 11/20/2009
Circlograph

Quite cute, but could do with antialiasing and other nice gx effects.

by andyclap the 10/29/2009
Hunky Punk

Almost perfect, and no offense but much nicer than the other one. Nice choice of samples. Minor quibble: would like to resume after an errant "back".

by andyclap the 9/9/2009
ongPay!

Quite good fun, and controls work well (for once). Took a few games to work out you can add extra power to the ball to stop the inactive penalties.

by andyclap the 9/5/2009
Kilopod Free

Is the trackball really this imprecise? Probably knowing HTC. Its inaccuracy makes this game simply unplayable.

by andyclap the 9/5/2009
Brain Combustion: Multiples

Not a bad way of practicing times tables, but not really a game.

by andyclap the 9/4/2009
DEMO String 'Em In (320x480)

Silly demo restriction. Do you not want to sell this game? Just do the normal thing: ads=free, no ads+an extra feature or two=pay

by andyclap the 8/31/2009
Target

Nicely implemented, and a good challenge. Starting time is too short when very few possible words. Needs online highscore per puzzle, and shuffle.

by andyclap the 8/30/2009
Time of the Turnip

It's intentions are commendable, if they integrated the "what do you want us to do next" into the app it could get great. First agile game?

by andyclap the 8/30/2009
PhotoSpy

Very well produced, and quite relaxing. However until the "story mode" is ready there is just no "game": it's a challenge to fail and gets boring fast

by andyclap the 8/30/2009
Ragtime Bebop - Core

Early days, but could be a fun resource management game. Two tips: stale is not a good word + ditch the music!

by andyclap the 8/29/2009
Battleship Solitaire

Not bad, but ship parts to select are just too small. Keyboard input perhaps? Or trackball grid focus, click = shape popup?

by andyclap the 8/21/2009
The Guardian Anywhere

Would've loved this to work, but unfortunately the massive download is and all-or nothing and so has never worked for me. Resumable downloads!

by andyclap the 8/16/2009
Lliane Japan IME and OCR

Can somebody make a kanji ime that works off strokes. This one tries to ocr what you draw, so it doesn't work very well.

by andyclap the 8/16/2009
Whirl Lite

Nice pictures, but not much game.

by andyclap the 7/18/2009
Sector Alpha

Well put together, but ship is not agile enough to feel fun rather than frustrating.

by andyclap the 7/16/2009
Game & Watch - Parachute

Ok it's horrible looking, but it's actually a nice port of a well balanced game. Fullscreen would be nice.

by andyclap the 7/11/2009
B2B studio

For classic read old JME game lazily ported. Not playable.

by andyclap the 7/11/2009
DEPRECATED VELOID

While a nice collatore, needs some work on features. Map is ridiculously zoomed out. Would be better as a website.
