FeedR News Reader

I wanted RSS, it gave me RSS, without pain or fuss I have looked at several newsreaders: some have lots of bells and whistles, but don't let you easily select feeds OR they make you use the ones they choose OR make it difficut to add or change a feed. NOT ReedR: it is straight forward, lets you add, change, organise, FIND feeds or add them manually. AND it imports/exports your feeds, backs them up - all without fuss. After testing this free version, I bought this paid version Excellent app and worth supporting the developer.

Maverick

Great app: has great range of maps and features This GPS app is excellent for off-road navigation and can use cached maps, i.e. it doesn't need a wireless datafeed if you have previuosly viewed/download the map area. For those who want/need Google maps, it is very simple/easy to use one of the good alternatives street maps provided by Maverick or use it along side the Google maps app. I have looked at other GPS apps and this one is best for what I want: trekking in the UK.
