Possible "GPS On Constantly" Workaround The "GPS ON CONSTANTLY" complaint, is of course true. I may have found a work-around: Apparently, this current version of Whrrl (.0311) doesnt remember its Bacground Notification setting of "None" or "Off", so I simply went in and checked it again, I noticed immediately that the GPS icon went blank, and checking indeed GPS is now "back to normal". But, turning the Phone (Droid 1) off then back on, sure enough the GPS was back on SOLID until I again went for the workaround. Don't know about other devices.
