Mount /system (rw / ro)

Can't rate this well. Didn't work for it's sole purpose on my Nook Color. Good news: ES File Explorer already has this functionality built in.

Coloroid

Great little puzzle game, still playable by a very color blind user. Update: worth Internet access permissions and now READ PHONE IDENTITY?! No.

CJ Poker Odds Calculator

Very nice user interface for the card picker; but both quite slow and variable in accuracy. Poker Odds Evaluator is much stronger overall.

CyanogenMod Updater

Cyanogen is lovage. This application was wonderful. Appears deprecated for 6.x ROMs. Nice work, though.

White Killer

Wonderful. Has been replaced by Task Panel X, which is even better. So rare to have to running competitors in the market this good in a class.

Poker Odds Evaluator

Simple. Bit clunky in the UI, but damned fast, damned useful, and damned good.

How to knot a tie

Okay, okay. It rules. (Have doubts about such a multitasker? Try keeping it a while.) You win. It rules.

3D Level

Completely free, wonderful eye-candy.

Graviturn

I didn't find it interesting or compelling, sorry. It also has ads and requires Internet access.

Android Developer Challenge 2

Same force close/no manual install issues as Melissa below.

My Market

Issues, but invaluable. Blocking, bookmarks and filtering are the best features. Thank you for your work, sir.

MythRemote

Worked well and was more useful than I can begin to describe. Doesn't seem to even render UI correctly in Donut, though. MythDroid is much better.

my NPR

Appreciate the effort, especially from a fellow lover of NPR. Streams and podcasts direct to a browser page, and are not handled. Updates, maybe?

OI Flashlight

Hey, look. A flashlight that's actually a flashlight. No ads, small footprint, doesn't crash, fast. The icon is - a flashlight. Open source. Winner.

OI Countdown

It's not beautiful, but it's the only countdown timer that's properly implmented. It works perfectly, and uses system resources perfectly. Wins.

Chinese Chess

Not perfect, but well worth it. Thank you.

XGalaga

Wastes my time very efficiently.

Giu Battery Widget

After another exhaustive search, still the only battery widget that doesn't thrash battery and memory use. Attractive enough. Can't wait for updates

auduaReader

By no means perfect, but stable and functional. Configurable enough to make reading possible and enoyable. Five for best-in-class.

AndTangle - Brain Challenge

An application that claims to need full Internet connectivity to post scores, but adds advertizements without warning, is not worth my trust.
