Default settings shouldn't run out 50% of your battery even without opening the app. Behavior like this makes me suspicious that it's malware.

Trafficman Maps 1.2.0

Good UI, but you have to actually be located in the area you're mapping. Major restriction. Make it work like Big Planet and you'l have a 5 star app

Lookup Incoming Call

Always runs in background. Unless you need instantaneous lookup and are always in 3G mode, ReverseLookup is better.
