FBReader

Fast Fast, good text formatting = easy on the eyes. No landscape 2-page layout, though, so I'm sticking with CoolReader for the time being.

Game Guides

not very useful It's basically a glorified single-serve browser. It doesn't break/fit text when zooming, so you're better off visiting the sites using the stock browser. Other than that, it does what it says on the package.

Springpad

Flawed I like Springpad and I use it daily, but it is the undisputed champion of force closures on my Transformer, and if I attach sub-notes, the text has a tendency to disappear. And it's been that way since September. They've been informed about the problem, but it hasn't been patched. Editing a note first on the webpage and secondly in the android app makes a mess of bulletpoints and line-changes. If it wasn't for the plethora of required permissions, I would have migrated to Evernote by now.

Read It Later Pro

RIL turns my tablet into my own, self-curated newspaper. I saw Google Reader as the best way to read+sync news across multiple devices, but adding RIL to the mix has raised the bar. Pro: Readability view. Offline reading. Share full text articles (I email important ones to Springpad). Android<->PC sync via superb Firefox addon. Con: Moving an article from archive to reading list deletes tags. Many date stamps and author names mess up. A few articles cannot be parsed. Tablet version doesn't work with paywalls - and they are taking their sweet time with providing updates.

Mindjet for Android

Good, but has annoying small bugs A good tool for Mindmapping, but I'm experiencing a couple of annoyances: - The color of relations is reset when reopening a file. - It keeps randomly reorganizing the layout when reopening a file: If I want to have 7 topics on one side and e.g. 3 on the other, why shouldn't I be allowed to do so? Other than that, I'm enjoying the app - in particular the swiping field, which makes the menu as goos as superfluous.

JustReader News - RSS

Best reader by far The layout is simple and stylish, syncing is fast, and the swiping shortcuts for starring/marking as read are nice. v1.3.9 had some Honeycomb issues with crashes and articles not loading until app was restarted - but even with those, it was my preferred reader by far! Hopefully this new update will fix those problems and propel JustReader to the fame and recognition it deserves.

Mantano Reader Free

Why have a trial version that doesn't work? On my Asus transformer (honeycomb 3.2), it says the trial period has ended when I try to open a book. The devs must be quick at testing stuff themselves, as this wasn't even 5 mins after installing the app... No way will I royal wasting my money on the expensive full version when the trial isn't even working.

Reach Service Record

I can't get it working on Android 2.1 after the app was updated. Good thing Bungie revamped their mobile homepage.

Auto-Rotate Status Bar Switch

Locking forces perspective into landscape mode, and even this doesn't work in all apps (e.g. FBreader). Android 2.1 on Kendo M7.

Laputa Reader(Free Books)

Nice finish, but crashes whenever i try to open epub files. I'll defininitely try to see if future versions will work for me. Android 2.1 on Kendo M7.
