Wi-Fi Keep Alive

Does not work Tested on: Phone: HTC Desire GSM, Android Version: Official HTC Gingerbread 2.3.3 Phone: HTC Desire GSM, Android Version: cyanogenmod 7.1.0 android 2.3.7 Router used: netgear My issue was that when I tried to download larger file (100>MB) via Opera browser as soon as the screen went off wifi connection was slower (presumably in power save mode) and transfer eventually broke. I tried several tools to keep wi-fi alive but they all failed. Cure for my problem was installing Oxygen Rom 2.3.2 I hope that helps.
