GDocs Notepad

Totally unreliable. Hard to install - must look at the alert in the status bar. The official google docs app works correctly.

Shuttle FTP

Server works in background. To change SD card folder use /sdcard/media - note that there is no trailing / I get up to 900 KB/s transfer rate. DroidX

It only works for FTP. The first file is slow, after that speeds of 700KB/s. DO NOT USE PASSIVE MODE connection. DroidX.

inKa File Manager

The user interface sucks. There is no help available to download. Cannot figure this out. Maybe add some default feeds to start. Wasted my time.

OruxMaps

Useless in USA. GPS doesn't work at all for online maps. For offline maps it turns on but you cannot zoom in much - not even to the State.
