I found an app called "Quick Settings" which has filled the hole left by this being ruined.

StabilityTest

My stock defy has some stability issues, so I tried this. Leaving it for several hours, it does cause reboot but doesn't show a report on restart.

Developer needs to focus less on telling us how beautiful and intuitive this is, and more on the interface. Battery monitor widget seems much better.
