Parcels Donation

Great app but ... I purchased this software because I thought it was a great app and wanted to support the developer. I also wanted to use the web front-end. I emailed the developer several weeks ago asking if he'd consider adding Fedex SmartPost and Prestige to the supported carriers. No response at all. I even included my purchase deals so the dev would know I paid for this. I've bought *a lot* of Android apps for my phone, and every dev I've contacted so far has been responsive except for Timo Behrmann.

Libra Plugin: Pro

Love the Withings Sync! I installed the Withings app but didn't see much value in it, as it only allowed me to view and delete weigh-ins. Libra syncs with Withings and give me an estimated ETA as to when I am likely to reach my weight goal. It doesn't use a lot of memory, either! :-)

Speedtest

OK Speedtest.net Speed Test is prettier, but it won't run on Gingerbread. This one runs, but it force closes when I try to check History. The download/upload file is too large, as speeds are inflated.

Catch Health Tracker

Needs work Catch is better than this! What exactly is a unit of exercise? Fine for counting servings of vegetables and glasses of water, but ....

TimeZone Changer

Review Update I too wish this app would run at startup and remember the selected time zone. I've emailed the developer asking if they plan to make such improvements but have gotten no response so far. :-( Also, periodically this app just stops without warning or notification, and I don't discover it till I check my calendar and see incorrect appt. times. So I'm taking off one star. Still a big help. I wish Google would fix this!!

Network Discovery

Great! Very nice app, works great on LG Vortex. I like that you can export scan results in xml. It would be nice if we could reload the xml in the Net Discovery app though.

Frequently Called Remover

Would be great but ... app doesn't start automatically on my LG Vortex, so the "auto remove" feature doesn't work unless I remember to start the app after a phone reboot. Otherwise would be 5 starts.

App Cache Cleaner pro

OK Works OK, but it's a pain to have to clear each app cache individually. Would be nice if it had this feature for non-root. Will try Quick App Clean Cache next.

Lightning Bug - City Pack

Love it! I'm so glad I found Lightning Bug. It's a great app in itself, but I recently started using plugins. The "city" plugin pack is my favorite, but I wish the train sounds had a periodic train horn in the distance. I miss that sound! (When I get my train horn in the distance, I'll upgrade this to 5 stars.) ;-)

Withings App

Weight off by 0.1lbs. Running on my LG Vortex w/ Android 2.2.1, the weight registers as 0.1lb. *less* than what web site reads. Web site matches scale. Great app once this is fixed on my phone.

Price Compare Pro

Great! Most price compare apps are designed to compare prices on the same item at different stores. There are a dearth of apps that let you calculate price per unit on different packaging for the same or similar items. I wish it were possible to add my own units, though. An example: sheets per paper towel roll, or length of towels, etc. Right now, I have to trust the manufacturer's label that says, for instance, one giant paper towel roll equals three regular.

Price Compare

Updating My Review! I previously rated this 3 stars because PC uses the Android alphanumeric keyboard, making fast typing difficult. Why display the full alphabet when all we need is a calc pad? Well I just bought Smartkeyboard Pro, and now PC uses a calc pad! I'm now rating this 5 stars and will buy to support the developer. Very handy tool.

Comparison Each One

Nice idea but needs work..... Uses full alphanumeric keyboard instead of numeric keypad, makes typing fast and accurately quite difficult when shopping quickly. Won't allow use of decimal point! UI can use a lot of help. Uninstalled after a couple calculations. Nice idea but very poor implementation.

Nice but... Please fix downloading currency rates and I'll buy this app! 5 stars otherwise.
