Chomp

Not as useful as I thought. I first read about this in a company newsletter, touting itself as a better means of searching both Android Market and iTunes Store. Yeah, I get it. No marketplace is perfect. But there is one thing about Android Market that current tops Chomp, despite it's lovely function-based algorithm searching: Being able to check compatibility of the app with your phone, prior to trying to download it. Until Chomp adds these feature and adjusts search results for the user's phone, I'll keep this as 3 stars.

Fine if you live in Seattle... ...but reading about anything outside of Seattle (especially under Weather) seems like a lost cause. The default news app on my Comet at least provides local weather.
