needs to be updated to work without wifi Useless without wi-fi. :( Real shame. Would be great if one could download a small bundle of voices for off wifi use.

Can't use without WiFi The voice on it doesn't work when I don't have Wi-Fi connection. not useful when I'm on the road.

Nice. My son likes this app but often asks me what the word is because he can't understand it.

Love it Great for our homeschooled kids to practice skills.

Needs Spaced Repetition This app needs to add spaced repetition and custom user lists. If you tap to hear a word it will sometimes sound like a robot on the first tap but it usually sounds human on the second or third tap. On my GALAXY Tab the keybord usually covers some of the writing area on words with longer definitions. I would like to see the incorrect spellings above the correct spelling so I can clearly see where I made mistakes. Also it would be nice if I could see the correct spellings after I get the words correct.

Very nice I just wish you could set it up with your own list of words to test a child

Yet another great app from Socratica!

Missing practice list... Great application. 2 stars taken away as application does not maintain list of misspelled words for practice. Practice list is a must for such an application.

It is kind of boring

Used to work but now it freezes all the time if I leave the app and then come back. And keeps changing the level when I start the app.
